We demonstrate a mutual telepresence system with a workspace that can cover the upper body. Our optical system produces a high-fidelity 3D image of the other party by micromirror arrays and symmetric mirror structure. Users feel tactile sensation while simultaneously seeing both their body and the partner’s mid-air image.
