Description:
The live sound effects sound track is being synchronized to the SMPTE time-code output of a 1″ video tape recorder using Hybrid Arts SMPTE Track sequencer and a variety of MIDI instruments (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). The entire track was recorded and mixed in a digital format, stored within the memory of and ATARI ST, and played back live and in synch. All sound effects have been sampled from the Digiffects Sound Library using Hybrid Art’s Analog/ Digital Audio Processor (ADAP). Sound processing, reverb and special effects were done on a Roland DET-5 and a Yamaha SPX-90.
