Description:

In 1931, a major international competition was held for the design of the Palace of Soviets in Moscow. The entry by the French architect, Le Corbusier, gained the greatest recognition, but was not selected due to the highly political nature of the jury process. The space Le Corbusier envisioned has been sealed in a small model, which is now in the permanent collec-tion at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This film is an attempt to visualize the full-scale experience of this magnifi-cent architecture interpreted from Corbusier’s blue prints.
