    Technical notes:
This film allows us to visualize the dynamics of a
differential equation, the Lorenz system. A “space
ship” is following the trajectories; “planets” mark
singularities of the system. Several mathematical
experiments have been visualized; experiment 4 is
    presented here.
Experiment 4 visualizes The Hat Function.
Mathematicians started to study the hat function
and noticed that it was possible to study
    something simpler instead, the parabola.
