Tomoyuki Nishita is a professor in the department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Fukuyama University, Japan. He received his BE, ME and PhD in Engineering in 1971, 1973, and 1985, respectively, from Hiroshima University. He was on the research staff at Mazda from 1973 to 1979 and worked on design and development of computer controlled vehicle systems. He joined Fukuyama University in 1979. He was an associate researcher in the Engineering Computer Graphics Laboratory at Brigham Young University from 1988 through March, 1989. He received a research award from the Information Processing Society of Japan. His research interests involve computer graphics including lighting model, hidden surface removal, and antialiasing.
