He is co-founder of the Digital Production Symposium (DigiPro, 2012-2016), served as SIGGRAPH Asia 2015 Courses Program co-chair, and was a coorganizer of the symposium ?Mathematical Progress in Expressive Image Synthesis? (MEIS2013-2016). He organized several courses at SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia in 2010, 2013, and 2014: http://anjyo.org??

    SIGGRAPH 2014

R&D supervisor at OLM Digital. He has been credited as R&D supervisor for recent Pok?mon and several other movies. His research focuses on construction of mathematical? and computationally tractable models. Dr. Anjyo?s research includes recent SIGGRAPH and IEEE CG&A papers on art-directable specular highlights and shadows for anime, the Fourier method for editing motion capture, and direct manipulation blendshapes for facial animation. He served as co-chair of the Digital Production Symposium 2012 (DigiPro2012), and was a co-organizer of the 2013 Mathematical Progress in Expressive Image Synthesis symposium (MEIS2013). He is also a VES member. http://anjyo.org ?

    SIGGRAPH ASIA 2013

Ken Anjyo; R&D; supervisor of OLM Digital; research interest focuses on construction of the mathematical and computationally tractable models, several of which were presented with his SIGGRAPH/ IEEE CG&A; papers. He is also a VES member.

    OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Keio University

    SIGGRAPH Asia 2010

Ken Anjyo is the digital-effects and R&D supervisor at OLM Digital and an affiliate professor at Kyushu University. He has published research on topics including natural phenomena and non-photorealistic rendering, and his work on hair simulation, motion editing, and view morphing is widely cited. His current research interests include construction of mathematical and computationally tractable models for computer graphics.

    SIGGRAPH Asia 2009

Since 2000, Ken Anjyo has worked at OLM Digital, Inc., where he heads the Research and Development Division, which is responsible for creating effects and in-house software tools. He was technical director for the Pokemon movies (“Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl: Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai”, “Pokemon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea-Manafi”, “Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero: Lucario”) and the TV series “Monkey Turn” (2004). His research focuses on construction of mathematical and computationally tractable models. Most of his research work has been published as international journal papers or at major computer graphics conferences such as SIGGRAPH and Eurographics.
