YOSHINORI DOBASHI is a professor at Hokkaido University in the graduate school of information science and technology, Japan. His research interests center in computer graphics including efficient rendering, fluid simulation, sound simulation, image-based approach, directable graphics, haptics, and digital fabrication He received his BE, ME and Ph. D in Engineering in 1992, 1994, and 1997, respectively, from Hiroshima University. He worked at Hiroshima City University from 1997 to 2000 as a research associate.
