I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Brown University and a member of the Brown Visual Computing group. I am also an affiliate faculty at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington and the chair of WiGRAPH.

SIGGRAPH 2024

Adriana Schulz is an assistant professor at the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington, where she is a member of the Graphics and Imaging Laboratory. She has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Mathematics from Brazil’s National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics, and a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her research focuses on geometric data processing and computational design systems for fabrication.

Adriana has been attending SIGGRAPH since 2010 and has served on the SIGGRAPH technical papers committees several times. Adriana co-founded the Berthouzoz Women in Research Lunch at SIGGRAPH 2016. Following the success of this event, she led the efforts to found an overarching organization to support women in computer graphics research. She is now Chair of the ACM SIGGRAPH Community Group WiGRAPH.
