    Julian Gomez is the co-founder, Nuon Play, and founder, Center for Computer Graphics History. His research covers the role of cognitive science in immersive technologies for knowledge management. He is building an API to the human cognitive system, and he represents history with graph databases. He studied computer science at UC Berkeley and also completed bilateral programs in computer character animation, chaos theory, at Ohio State University. Gomez previously worked at NASA JPL Computer Graphics Lab, NASA RIACS, MacroMind, Apple, LEGO Chief Scientist, Sun Microsystems Java 3D, Condition One, Tanzle, and for some startups. He is interested in computer character animation, chaos theory, 3D software systems, information technology, mobile tech, graph databases, knowledge management, and XR.

    Dr. Julian Gomes received his doctorate from? The Ohio State University where he authored a publicly available computer animation system, Twizt. Twizt has been used for a number of animations shown at SIGGRAPH in the past few years and has been the primary computer animation tool used by Cranston-Csuri Productions and the OSU Computer Graphics Research Group. Julian is now with RIACS engaged in research on chaotic attractors and graphic aerodynamic simulators for NASA.??
