Bio:
SIGGRAPH 1999
Craig Gotsman received a Ph.D. in computer science in 1991 from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. His research Interests Include computer graphics and optimization techniques for real-time transmission and rendering of 3D data. Gotsman is now chief scientist of Virtue Ltd, while on sabbatical leave from the Technion. Geometric compression technology is one of Virtue’s commercially available products.
