SIGGRAPH 2024
CGAL is an Open Source software project that provides easy access to efficient and reliable geometric algorithms in the form of a C++ library. We are at Siggraph to discuss with potential contributors, to get live feedback from users, to present CGAL to people who hear for the first time about it, or want a quick update on the latest developments, to explain the license options for companies, which cannot comply to the Open Source license terms and want to know more about the commercial license options.

SIGGRAPH 2022
CGAL is a an Open Source software project that provides easy access to efficient and reliable geometric algorithms in the form of a C++ library. CGAL is used in various areas needing geometric computation, such as geographic information systems, computer aided design, molecular biology, medical imaging, computer graphics, and robotics. The library offers data structures and algorithms like triangulations, Voronoi diagrams, Boolean operations on polygons and polyhedra, point set processing, arrangements of curves, surface and volume mesh generation, geometry processing, alpha shapes, convex hull algorithms, shape reconstruction, AABB and KD trees… Most of the CGAL data structures and algorithms are implementations of results presented in the technical paper session of Siggraph, at SGP, the Symposium of Geometry Processing, at EuroGraphics, at SoCG, the Symposium of Computational Geometry, or at IMR, the International Meshing Roundtable.
