Masanori Kakimoto is a professor at School of Media Science, Tokyo University of Technology since 2012. He was with Fujitsu Laboratories from 1982 to 1993. From 1989 to 1990 he was a visiting researcher at Brigham Young University. After working as a systems engineer at SGI Japan from 1995 to 2011, he joined Silicon Studio Corp. from 2011 to 2012. He is currently chair of SIGCG of IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan). His research interest includes computer graphics, virtual reality technology and image processing.
