Bio

SIGGRAPH 1999

Brian M. Rosen started at Pixar in 1993 as an effects and shading Technical Director on Toy Story, and then A Bug’s Life. He also maintained Supe (Ringmaster), Pixar’s distributed Render system, and worked with the RenderMan team to design and implement RiDiy, Pixar’s Ribstream filtering system. Brian attended lnterlochen Arts Academy Highschool where he majored in Trumpet and Composition. After high school, he attended Princeton University where he received a B.S. in engineering with honour from the Computer Science Department Aside &om his TD responsibilities, Brian is also Director of the Pixar Singers.
