Tektronix, Inc. is showing the Profile Multi-channel Professional Disc Recorder (PDR 100), featuring broadcast studio-quality video and CD-quality audio. Profile is the ideal replacement for applications that traditionally used VTR’s. Tektronix, Inc. also displays Tektronix Phaser color printers, featuring Adobe PostScript Level 2 and full color output at speeds up to 5 PPM. Media sizes range from postcard to tabloid bleeds, with printer resolutions ranging from 300 to 1200 dpi. Internal network interfaces support a variety of protocols and hardware standards.

Tektronix displays the new XD/88 Series high-performance graphics workstations, featuring the new Motorola 88000 RISC compute engine; 17 MIPS performance, X11, video- out. 4200/4300 Series high-performance graphics work-stations/terminals, running industry-leading software from Wavefront, Dalim, SDRC, and others are also on display. New products include: ColorQuick low-cost color ink-jet printer; and Phaser CPS Color Print Station, with PostScriptcompatible printing for AppleTalk Networks.

Tektronix Information Display Group will exhibit its new 6000 Series of 32-bit Intelligent Graphics Workstations. Also: 4120 Series workstations demonstrating 20 to 30 migration; 4100 Series Color Graphics Terminals compatible with DEC and IBM; 4692 Color Graphics Copier and PLOT 10 TekniCad (drafting) and TekniCap (presentation) software.

SIGGRAPH 1984

Tektronix will be exhibiting its full family of 4100 and 4110 series computer display terminals, ranging from the low-cost 4105 with DEC VT100 compatible alphanumerics and color graphics to the high performance 4115B high resolution color raster display with patented auto-convergence feature. Also on display will be Tektronix’ family of ink jet color copiers offering highly reliable color hardcopy with a range of price/performance alternatives. Tektronix PLOT 10 graphics utility software-TCS, IGL and the new international standard GKS-and PLOT 10 Computer- Aided Drafting software will also be featured.

Tektronix, Inc., the leading manufacturer of computer graphics products for engineering and scientific markets will feature color graphics terminals in workstation configurations directed at the computer-aided design and technical data analysis application areas. Featured products in the booth include: 4110 Series Computer Display Terminals; 4100 Series Computer Display Terminals; and Color Hard Copy Units. The 4115 Computer Display Terminal is a high- resolution 60Hz non-interlaced color raster display. The 4105 Computer Display Terminal is a low cost 60Hz non-interlaced color raster display with resolution with 480 X 360 pixels and a coordinate space of 4096 X 4096 addressable points. The 4695 Color Hard Copy Unit uses on-demand ink jet technology, to produce 8-color copies from computer graphics displays.
