SIGGRAPH 1995
Seiko Instruments will display the Professional ColorPoint 2 which produces thermal transfer and dye sublimation 300 dpi color prints. Available in both letter and tabloid sizes, the dual technology ColorPoint 2 offers a variety of interfaces: Adobe PostScript Level 2, video, and raster. Compatible across all PC, Macintosh, and Unix-based workstations.
SIGGRAPH 1994
Seiko Instruments debuts the Professional ColorPoint 2, the only color printer that produces both thermal transfer and dye sublimation 300 DPI color prints. Available in both letter and tabloid sizes, the dual technology ColorPoint 2 offers a variety of interfaces: Adobe PostScript Level 2, video, and raster. Compatible across all platforms: PC, Macintosh, and UNIX-based workstations.
SIGGRAPH 1993
Seiko Instruments, a pioneer in color output devices, offers the industry standard in both thermal wax transfer and dye sublimation printers. These fast, rugged, workhorse printers are available in full-bleed letter and tabloid sizes, and are designed for high-volume work groups on UNIX, Macintosh, PC, and mixed networks.
SIGGRAPH 1992
Seiko Instruments demonstrates ColorPoint PostScript language compatible color printers which produce high-quality, 300 dpi, A/B size prints on paper/film. Also featured are 14,” 17,” and 20″ color monitors compatible with graphics standards with display resolutions up to 1024 x 768. The SpectraPoint color scanner and the Smart Label Printer Plus are also displayed.
SIGGRAPH 1991
Seiko Instruments USA demonstrates its color printers, which produce A/B size output on paper or transparency film at 300 dpi. PostScript, video, parallel, and network models allow connection to workstations, PCs, and Macintosh. Also featured are color monitors that are compatible with graphics standards and can display resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024. The new Smart Label Printer Plus is also displayed.
SIGGRAPH 1990
Seiko Instruments is showcasing its family of desktop color printers which produce high-quality A and B size color output on paper or transparency film, 300 dpi. Video, parallel and network interfaces allow connections to workstations, PCs and the Macintosh. Also demonstrated is ColorPoint PS, a Postscript language-compatible desktop color printer.
SIGGRAPH 1989
Demonstration of the CH-5000 Series color printers which produce high-quality A and B size color output on paper or overheads. Video, parallel and network interfaces allow connections to workstations, FCs, and Macintosh. The GR-4400 advanced raster display systems with VLSI-based 3D graphics shading engine displayed.
SIGGRAPH 1988
Seiko will demonstrate a full line of intelligent thermal transfer color hardcopiers, suitable for a broad range of applications from PC-based environments to high-end workstations. Models shown are specialized for different copy sizes, resolutions, computer interface types and integral vector-to-raster data conversion. Also featured is the GR-4400 Series Advanced Raster Displays, with 3-D and 2-D capabilities and world-class performance speed of 400,000 vectors/second.
SIGGRAPH 1987
Seiko will exhibit the new GR-4400 Series Advanced Raster Display Systems which perform up to 400,000 3-D vector transformations/ second and offer dual-resolution color capability. Seiko will also display the CH-5300 Series Color Hardcopiers which produce A/B size color hardcopy on paper or transparency film in up to 4,912 colors, and the Screenplay series of digitizing tablets/tables.
SIGGRAPH 1986
Seiko features the new CH-5300 Color Hard- copiers, which offer multiple interfaces, multiple color modes, and A/B size images with up to 4,912 colors. Also displayed, the new GR-1105 Color Graphics Terminal and the GR-2414. The 14″ and 19″ terminals offer 2-D transformations, display list, advanced monitor design and high speed processing. Digitizing tablets, featuring the new SCREENPLAY tablet which is completely format, function and plug compatible with Bit Pad Two, also will be demonstrated.
SIGGRAPH 1985
Seiko demonstrates the GR-Series Graphic Terminals with 2-D transformations, display list, advanced monitor design and high speed processing; the CH-Series Color Hard Copier with video and Centronics interfacing; the OT-Series Digitizing Tablets.
SIGGRAPH 1984
Seiko Instruments will exhibit the O-SCAN Series graphics devices featuring color graphics terminals and color hard copiers. The O-SCAN GR1100 series and 2400 series graphic display terminals feature 14- 19″ terminals with up to 1024 x 1280 resolution: desktop models with VT100 emulation and 2-0 transformation. The CH-5201 copier produces high resolution (150 dot/inch) crisp color copies with the ease of con- ventional office copiers. Blending the concepts of color printing and thermal image transfer technology the CH-5201 produces hard copy on paper or polyester film.
SIGGRAPH 1983
SEIKO will exhibit the D-SCAN Series display devices featuring color graphics terminals and color hard copiers. The D-SCAN intelligent graphic terminal is based on a dual processor architecture offering SEIKO’S unique “built-in” hardware anti-aliasing, two-dimensional transformation capability and 1024 X 780 resolution. The D-SCAN copier produces high resolution (150 dot/inch) crisp color copies with the ease of conventional office copiers. Blending the concepts of color printing and thermal image transfer technology, this desktop unit uses normal grade paper to produce fast inexpensive full color copies.
