    SIGGRAPH 2005

Photron USA, Inc. exhibits its chroma matte software, Primatte, and its line of high-speed cameras.

    SIGGRAPH 2004

Photron USA, Inc. will exhibit its chroma matte software, Primatte.

    SIGGRAPH 2003

Photron USA, Inc. exhibits its Primatte software, a chromakey plug-in for most major compositing and video editing applications.

    SIGGRAPH 2002

Photron USA, Inc. exhibits the Primatte chromakey software and the 2D match-move software product MAMOE.

    SIGGRAPH 2000

Primatte is a high-end chromakey plug-in available for most compositing products. Mamoe is a precise “match move” camera-tracking application for SGI and Windows.

    SIGGRAPH 1999

Photron USA, a developer of high- end chromakey plug-ins, showcases their latest Discreet spark upgrade and other plug-ins for Softimage|DS, Adobe After Effects, and other compositing systems.

    SIGGRAPH 1998

Photron USA is showing Primatte, their high-end, easy-to-use, inexpensive chromakey plug-in. Primatte is available for Discreet Logic, Avid, Alias | Wavefront, Adobe, and Kinetix compositing products.

    SIGGRAPH 1997

Chromakeying can be easier, faster, and cheaper thanks to Photron-92s PRIMATTE software. The PRIMATTE algorithm is a revolutionary concept in compositing, providing advanced techniques for detailed manipulation of color regions not previously possible. There are plug-ins available for FLAME/ FLINT/FIRE/INFERNO, Composer, Metador, Media Illusion, Cineon, Photoshop, and 3D Studio MAX.

    SIGGRAPH 1996

Photron is showing the Chromakey Compositing Software “PRIMATTES-100” The PRIMATTE algorithm is a revolutionary concept in image compositing, providing advanced techniques for extremely fine manipulation of color regions not previously possible using conventional chromakey techniques. It is available as a Stand Alone product and as a plug-in for A/W Composer, Kinetix 3D Studio Max, Discreet Logic FLAME/FLINT/ INFERNO and Avid lllusion/Matador. Also the PRIMATTE pro-100, realtime Video Chromakeyer, and the DVDA-3, Digital Video Disk Array.

    SIGGRAPH 1995

P.E. Photron shows chromakey and image compositing software, PRIMATTE for SGI workstations. The PRIMATTE Polyhedral Slicing Algorithm is a revolutionary concept in image compositing, providing advanced techniques for extremely fine manipulation of color regions that are not possible using conventional chromakey techniques. The software also plugs into Discreet Logic’s FLAME/Flint and Wavefront’s COMPOSER. P.E. Photron also launches its new high-end scan converter, FSC-64V1.

    SIGGRAPH 1994

OSCON-BOX, switcher and video frame capture box for the entire line of SGI workstations; PRIMATTE, chromakey software offers powerful ultrapression mattecontrol functions; DVDA- I, Digital Disk Array; and FSC-64000VZ & FSC-100, Frame Scan Converter.

    SIGGRAPH 1993

OSCONIND/24 switcher and video frame capture board for the Silicon Graphics Entry Graphics Indigo. VideoGenesis/24 the only 24-bit professional-quality video output frame buffer adapter for IBM RISC System/6000. FSC-64000, and 32000VZ Flame Scan Converters for anything from PCs and Macintosh computers to high-resolution workstations.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Photron Limited features frame scan converters, FSC-64000VZ, a high-end scan converter with windowing capability; FSC-32000VZ, an affordable model supporting all workstations, as well as VGA and Mac; and FSC-8000, scan converter for VGA and Mac. Frame buffer boards: VideoGenesis/24, Micro Channel frame buffer adapter for IBM RS-6000; VideoGenesis/24- GIO, Video IN/OUT adapter for SGI INDIGO; and VideoGenesis/24-HD, HDTV frame buffer adapter for VME bus.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

Photron is demonstrating the FSC64000ALV real-time scan converter which provides workstation users with the ability to record workstation imagery directly onto videotape, in both full and 1:1 window modes. Photron is also demonstrating the VideoGensis/24 broadcastquality frame buffer board for the IBM RISC System/6000 workstation.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

The FSC-64000AL Frame Scan Converter takes high-res graphics signals (RGB) from graphics workstations and converts them into the NTSC television signal.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

The FSC-64000EZ takes high-resolution RGB computer graphics output and converts the signals in real time to NTSC, RGB, R-Y, B-Y, or Y-C so that the images can be stored on videotape, videodisc, or projected in real time.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

The FSC-64000 Frame Scan Converter converts high-resolution graphics in real-time to RS-170A video. Transfers 1280 x 1024 60Hz non-interlaced (60 to 65 kHz) to RS-170A RGB component and composite NTSC.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

Photron will feature its Frame Scan Converter FSC-64000 which does real-time conversion of high-resolution computer graphics display signals (1280×1024 pix./64 KHz) into an NTSC composite video signal. The Frame Scan Converter GSC-64000 extends the use of computer graphics by feeding real-time converted NTSC video signals to video tape recorders, video discs, video projectors and standard TV monitors.
