That’s because it is specifically designed to handle the day-to-day activities of education, business, financial planning, scientific calculation, and entertainment. APPLES are self-contained computers based on the 6502 microprocessor. Standard features include Integer or Extended (Applesoft) BASIC languages, assembler, disassembler, and monitor in ROM, color graphics, sockets for up to 48K bytes RAM, cassette interface, game I/ 0 connector, typewriter-style ASCII keyboard, high-efficiency switching power supply and rugged structural foam case. Also included as standard are: demonstration tapes, two game controls, and detailed reference and tutorial programming.
