David Schedl is a Professor of Visual Computing at the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences, Campus Hagenberg. His prior experience includes a post-doctoral position at Johannes Kepler University Linz’s Institute of Computer Graphics, following his Ph.D. completed at the same institution in 2018. His academic journey began in 2011 with a Master’s in Interactive Media from the University of Applied Sciences. His research interests encompass computer vision, computational photography, machine learning, and drones, with a focus on optimal sampling strategies and innovative algorithms for multi-view data such as light fields.
