    SIGGRAPH 1998

    Diaquest showcases new video, animation, and digital media production software including interfaces for: SGI O2/Octane/Origin, 3D Studio MAX, Photoshop, AfterEffects, FAST, Media 100, and other DDR and VTR products for WinNT and Mac platforms.

    Diaquest showcases new software for broadcast quality desktop video, animation, and digital media production including: interfaces for SGI O2/Octane; 3D/AV 3D/audio/video integration inside 3DStudioMAX with Truevision’s RTX/SDX hardware; new NT and MacOs DDR plug-ins for Photoshop, After Effects, MAX; and new releases of Animaq/DIGITAL and other Diaquest DDR and VTR products.

    Diaquest features 3D/AV, its new Digital Media Production Suite within 3DStudio MAX. 3D/AV integrates high- quality digital audio/video into the 3D animation design process. Diaquest demonstrates QuickPass recording and digitizing technology, as well as distributed animation and sequential frame digitizing with the enhanced Image- Node—VideoServer system.

    Diaquest demonstrates new and enhanced video control products for single frame animation recording, video editing, and sequential frame digitizing in broadcast, scientific visual- ization, and multimedia production. Diaquest’s products interface with a wide range of graphics applications, computer platforms, and video formats. New products include DQ-232 and DQ-422+. Enhancements to ImageNode, DQ-Animaq, DQ-TACO, and Series II are featured.

    Diaquest demonstrates videographic animation systems featuring single frame recording, editing, and sequential frame digitizing for broadcast television, scientific visualization, and multimedia applications. Diaquest animation control products include: board-level controllers for the PC, Macintosh, and Amiga/Toaster; the Series II, a platform-independent device; and ImageNode systems for networked environments.

    Diaquest demonstrates systems for frame-accurate video animation and digitizing for broadcast production, desktop video, and Ethernet environments. Featured products include: DQ-ANIMAQ -a Macintosh video animation controller; SERIES II-a stand-alone animation controller with RS-232C control from the host computer; and IMAGENODE -a complete animation and digitizing system designed for Ethernet environments.

    Diaquest, Inc. will be demonstrating its family of video/ computer graphics products for a variety of applications in both still image and animation environments. Diaquest develops and markets hardware and software for use in graphic arts, industrial imaging and scientific visualization.

    Diaquest’s products, the DQ-422 VideoGraphics Interface, Action Animator and Imagizer, provide video capture and frame accurate animation, integrating computer graphics systems with professional video technology. SONY Still Image Systems Group products, the ProMavica and CSS-100 still image systems and the new High Resolution System will be shown.
