Tomer Weiss is an assistant professor of informatics at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He specializes in visual computing, including virtual simulation of physically-embodied AI agents, and algorithmic content creation for virtual, augmented and other immersive reality media. He was awarded the best paper award at the SIGGRAPH conference on Motion, Interaction, and Games conference (2017), and the best student paper award at the SIGGRAPH conference on Interactive 3D Graphics and Games (2025) for his work on crowd simulation.
