Bio

Shogo Fukushima received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Graduate School of Informatics and Engineering at the University of Electro-Communications in 2013. He subsequently served as a PRESTO researcher at the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. Since 2022, he has been an associate professor in the Faculty of Information Science and Electrical Engineering at Kyushu University. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research interests include VR displays, haptic interfaces, and technology-enhanced learning (TEL).
