She received her M.E. and Ph.D. in Human Informatics from Nagoya University. She has been an associate professor at Faculty of Science and Technology, Ryukoku University. Her research interests are human animation, virtual reality, user interface and their applications for artistic media. She has been working on human animation systems for dance using motion data. Currently, she is also working on interactive systems using VR/AR and sensor technologies for museum exhibits.
