SIGGRAPH 2025
Cengiz Oztireli’s research interests are in machine learning/ artificial intelligence, computer graphics, and vision. He worked as a research scientist at Disney Research, and as a senior research associate at ETH Zürich before joining Cambridge and Google. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from ETH Zürich (jointly funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation) and completed a double major degree in Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering at Koc University (summa cum laude, valedictorian). He has been honored with several awards including the Eurographics Best Ph.D. Thesis Award and the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship.
SIGGRAPH Asia 2018
Dr. Cengiz Oztireli is currently a Research Scientist at Disney Research Zürich. His research interests are in computer graphics, vision, and machine learning. With his collaborators from academia and industry, he has been publishing works in international journals and conferences. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from ETH Zurich (jointly funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation), and completed a double major in computer engineering and electronics engineering at Koc University (valedictorian). He has been honored with several awards including the Eurographics Best Ph.D. Thesis Award and Fulbright Science and Technology Award.
