SIGGRAPH 2014: Real-Time Live!
Overview:
An interactive extravaganza that celebrates the real-time achievements of evil geniuses, mad scientists, and creative computer gods! Real-Time Live! shows off the latest trends and techniques for pushing the boundaries of interactive visuals.
As part of the Computer Animation Festival, an international jury selects submissions from a diverse array of industries to create a fast-paced, 90-minute show of cutting-edge, aesthetically stimulating real-time work, and maybe a battle between mind-controlled robot monkeys with laser eyes and autonomous penguin drones with shrink-ray bow ties.
Augmented/Virtual Reality Contest
SIGGRAPH 2014’s Augmented/Virtual Reality Contest encouraged developers to create and showcase the best augmented/virtual reality experiences possible using today?s technologies. The three finalists demonstrate their work during Real-Time Live!
