Matrox features the EG3-1280, a high-resolution 3D graphics adaptor for EISA bus computer platforms. Also featured: the M-WIN Series, an 8514/Acompatible graphics adaptor for PC ATs, including a 2K x lK frame buffer, 1280 x 1024 display resolution producing 256 colors. Also on display are the MP- 860, a scalable, single-slot, parallel processor for EISA-based computers, and the MG-128, a highresolution model for the MG-Series 8514/A graphics controllers.

Matrox products are plug-compatible with most major industrial buses including: Multibus I & II, VMEbus, Q-bus and PC-Bus. At SIGGRAPH ’87, Matrox will introduce a new 1280×1024 single board graphics processor for the PC-AT. Based on the TI-34010, the PG-1281 features speed and performance characteristics previously unavailable on the AT.

Also on display will be MATROX’s 1024 x 768 interactive graphics termi nal: GXT-1000.

Matrox Eectronic Systems Ltd. is a major manufacturer of board level color graphics display controllers. Featured at the Matrox exhibit is the new SX-900 graphics display controller The SX-900 is a single, multibus-compatible board which is capable of generating graphic displays of up to 540 x 480 at 60Hz non interlaced, with up to 8 bits/pixel (256 simultaneously displayable colors). Matrox also manufactures and will be exhibiting a 1024 x 1024 intelligent color graphics terminal (GXT-1000A).
SIGGRAPH 1983
Matrox will feature the new GXT-1000 color graphics terminal. This intelligent terminal is capable of displaying up to 1280 X 1024 dots on a 19″ color CRT monitor. Matrox will also exhibit the GXB-1000, a two-board 1k X 1k color graphics controller which also acts as the display controller for the GXT-1000 and a 512 X 512 color imaging system for the Multibus. The MSBX-800, an 800 X 600 X 4-bit graphics ISBX multimodule, will also be displayed.
