    SIGGRAPH 1994

Ithaca Software, Autodesk’s Component Technology Business Division, demonstrates HOOPS 4.0 and the Cyberspace Developer Kit. HOOPS, the commercial graphics development standard, is a high-level, portable interface that simplifies building interactive graphics applications. CDK is Autodesk’s award-winning virtual reality toolkit.

    SIGGRAPH 1993

Ithaca Software is demonstrating HOOPS, a graphics framework used by leading software developers to build interactive 2D and 3D graphics applications. HOOPS provides a single interface to all major platforms, window managers, and graphics devices that lets programmers develop superior applications and port them across PCs and workstations without modifications.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Ithaca Software is demonstrating HOOPS, a graphics framework used by leading software developers to build interactive 2D and 3D applications. HOOPS provides a single interface to all major plotforms, window managers, and graphics devices that lets programmers develop superior applications and port them across PCs and workstations without modifications.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

Ithaca’s HOOPS Graphics System offers a truly portable, high-level alternative to Phigs and other 3D APIs. Providing unique declarative object-oriented programming, HOOPS offers advanced programmer productivity on all major workstations and PCs with leading GUIs. HOOPS has been adopted by major software developers for their next generation products.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

Ithaca Software is the maker of the HOOPS Graphics System. HOOPS, a sub-routine library used to create advanced 2D and 3D graphics applications, is the finest graphics development system available for personal workstations. It has been adopted by many leading software makers and is used in science, engineering, business, education, and medicine.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

HOOPS is a 2D and 3D graphics toolkit based on an object-oriented declarative programming interface that greatly simplifies the design of interactive graphics application. The system features a hierarchical graphics database, hidden line/surface removal, multiple light source rendering, multiple orthographic and perspective views, window and input event queue manager. HOOPS is source code compatible with many workstations including Sun, DEC, Apollo, HP, Silicon Graphics, 286/386-PC’s, and Mac II. PostScript, HP-GL, and X-Windows are supported.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

HOOPS is a 3-D graphics development system built around an innovative object-oriented structure that greatly simplifies the design and production of advanced interactive graphics applications. Features include: hierarchical graphics database, hidden line/surface removal, and a device-independent interface. Supports VMS, UNIX, DOS, Mac II and X-Windows.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

Ithaca will display two advanced color graphics terminals, GRAPHOS II and GRAPHOS Ill. They feature Shiftable CellTM Architecture and 16 independently managed screen windows. The windows have individual color tables and are central to device independent information. They also allow simultaneous emulation of DEC VT-100 and Tektronix 4010 terminals. Both terminals communicate through RS-232 connector with any host computer and attach to a variety of monitors. An MC68000 processor in the terminal runs subroutines in a command set supplied in firmware. The two terminals differ in memory, speed and number of colors. Process control, UNIX environment, mapping, etc.
