SIGGRAPH 2025
I specialize in machine learning, image recognition, HCI, and interactive learning, focusing on VR-based educational tools. Since 2013, I have exhibited works at Maker Faire Taipei and Tokyo, and guided students to win over 60 awards, including the UIST Best Demo Award (2016), SIGGRAPH Laval Virtual Award (2017), VRIC 3D Games & Entertainment Award (2018), and Fi-Awards First Prize (2019). I have published 36 international journal papers, 51 conference papers, and hold two patents granted by the Republic of China.

Chien-Hsing Chou received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tamkang University, Taiwan, in 1997 and 1999, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electrical Engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, in 2003. He is currently an assistant professor of electrical engineering at Tamkang University, Taiwan. His research interests include image analysis and recognition, human computer interaction, ma-chine learning, and interactive learning.
