    SIGGRAPH 1997

IRIS Graphics is showing the new IRIS Realist FX printer products, featuring enhancements for new media and print quality improvements. IRIS printers are the only choice for the highest-quality imaging needs.

    SIGGRAPH 1996

Come see an IRIS printer today, and you’ll understand why the biggest names in animation, graphic arts, and industrial design choose IRIS output! With photorealistic resolution and the largest color space available, IRIS prints provide the highest quality around. See the IRIS Realist 5015, Realist 5030, and 3047 now!

    SIGGRAPH 1995

IRIS Graphics is showing a model from its product line of high-resolution color printers. IRIS printers offer: image formats from 10.6 x 17.2 inches up to 34 x 46.8 inches, the ability to print on a wide range of media, an effective resolution of 1500-1800 dpi, and the largest digital color gamut.

    SIGGRAPH 1993

IRIS Graphics is exhibiting two of its high-resolution, continuous ink jet color printers: the large-format IRIS 3024 and the highly automated SmartJet 4012, named editors’ choiceby Macworld magazine; also exhibiting new print server, Color Base, linked via network to Macintosh, SGI, Sun, and PC/Windows color workstations.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

IRIS is presenting a demonstration of technology featuring PassPort, the company’s new print server developed specifically for use with IRIS’s full line of high-resolution color printers. A true Adobe PostScript server, at SIGGRAPH PassPort will accept image files from a Macintosh, an IBM RISC System/6000, on SGI 40/25, and a Sun SPARCStation.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

IRIS Graphics demonstrates two of its continuous inkjet color printers: the large-format 3024 and the highly automated SmartJet 4012. The printers are driven by Apple Macintoshes, an IBM RISC/6000, and a Silicon Graphics 4D/25 workstation. Through April 1991, IRIS had shipped over 700 high-resolution printers worldwide.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

IRIS Graphics introduces its small-format (A3), competitively priced, continuous-flow color ink jet printer, designed to provide unattended operation and photo-realistic full-color images. This printer will accommodate the color-hardcopy needs of CAD users, graphic artists, corporate publishing, medical imaging, and, like IRIS’s larger-format printers, the color electronic prepress market.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

IRIS Graphics, Inc. of Bedford, Massachusetts is exhibiting the IRIS 3024 continuous flow color ink jet printer. Patented technologies, open architecture, and front-end independence enable the IRIS 3024 to print photorealistic color images of data files created on a wide range of design platforms. Over 200 have been installed worldwide.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

IRIS Graphics designs and manufactures device- and size independent continuous-flow color ink jet printers, which generate images that are virtually indistinguishable from film-based proofing products. IRIS has an installed base in the graphic arts, CAD/CAM, industrial design, textile design, seismic mapping and color-capable newspaper industries.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

IRIS Graphics will introduce its new 2044 Color Ink Jet Printer. It produces high resolution, full-color hardcopy images in sizes up to 34 by 44-inches when linked to virtually any turnkey digital computer-aided design system. Images are at 240 by 240 dots per inch and applications include IC check plots, 3D modeling, complex process and instrumentation diagrams, remotely-sensed data and geographic and demographic mapping data.
