Minolta will introduce a new high-resolution 3-d portable scanner. As simple to use as our other digitizers, the VIVID 900 captures 307,200 3-d data points in 2.5 seconds. The new VIVID 900 is capable of digitizing various volumes in a single scan through the use of included, interchangeable lenses. The VIVID family supports Windows NT 4.0 computer platforms with data export capabilities to a wide range of applications and industries including 3-D animation, rapid prototyping, CAD, CAE, CAM, industrial design, reverse engineering , 3-D software and internet development, medical science, architecture, archeology, restoration, museum archiving, research and education.

The CRT Color Analyzers adjust white balance in color monitors and LCD Panels, ensuring uniformity in all colors on monitors. Minolta’s Convergence Meters simultaneously measure red, green, and blue signals of monitors (computers and TV) to minimize individual drift.
