Bio:

    Dr. Regis Kopper is an assistant professor of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a visiting researcher at INESC-ID Lisboa. He directs the Interactive Realities Lab and researches XR interfaces and UX for immersive interactive systems. His work involves interaction design, simulation, and training, focusing on applications in public safety, health care, and the humanities. Dr. Kopper has received support for his research from various organizations, including FLAD-Portugal, FAPESP-Brazil, DoD, NSF, NIH, and NIST. He earned his B.A. and M.S. in Computer Science from PUCRS, Brazil, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
