Abstract:


    We introduce an algorithm to design Nebuta-inspired Papercraft: an artifact with a metal wireframe covered by multiple paper patches. Our method generates the closest approximated shapes to the input shapes with similar fabrication complexity. Moreover, we also fabricate one physical example to demonstrate the feasibility of our pipeline.
