United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829 IATSE

United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829 IATSE, is a national labor organization and professional association representing freelance and staff Designers, Artists, and Craftspeople, organized to protect craft standards, working conditions, and wages in the Entertainment Industry. The Members of Local USA 829 are Artists and Designers working in film, television, commercials, industrial shows, exhibitions, and theatre. Local USA 829 negotiates new collective bargaining agreements (union contracts) and enforces existing agreements with employers involved in many areas of production. We assist Artists in securing better conditions such as fair pay, medical and retirement benefits, safety, and artistic concerns.
