    SIGGRAPH 1993

Software Security, Inc. is exhibiting its hardware-based software protection devices that prevent the piracy of DOS, UNIX, OS/2, Windows, and Macintosh applications, both single-user and network versions. Protected software can be copied but will not run unless the device is connected to the computer. Network versions limit concurrent users.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Software Security exhibits software protection devices for PCs, workstations, and Macintosh computers in standalone and networked versions. Software protected by these hardware keys can be copied freely but will not run unless a device is attached to the computer. Network devices limit the concurrent applications running on a network.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

Software Security, Inc. introduces Mactivator/NET, a license management tool that controls the number of concurrent users on an AppleTalk network. Also on display are other user-transparent, patented software protection devices including the new Activator/NET for PC network control, the Activator devices for PCs, and Mactivators for Macintosh computers.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

Software Security’s patented Activator products are user-transparent hardware keys for IBM and compatible PCs and Macintosh computers that prevent unauthorized use of software. The user can make unlimited copies, but the software is executable only when the key is attached.
