The products attach easily to parallel printer ports and do not affect printer operation. They run under DOS, OS/2, Windows, XENEX/UNIX, and Novell Networks.

Rainbow Technologies is displaying its Software Sentinel family of software protection devices, utilized by software developers to prohibit the unauthorized distribution of their software. These execution control devices attach easily to parallel printer ports and are compatible over a wide range of computer platforms such as IBM PCs and compatibles, Macintosh, NEC and Xenix/UNIX-based computer systems.

Rainbow Technologies displays its Software Sentinel Family of software protection devices. Included is the SentinelPro, based on a ASIC chip designed by Rainbow; The Sentinel-C, for customized protection; The Eve, for Macintosh software developers; and the DataSentry, for securing sensitive data files. The SentinelShell, a hardware key that protects software applications without having access to the source code, is being announced.

Rainbow Images, Inc., will demonstrate the 3-D animation system EXPLORE. EXPLORE is a computer graphics software system composed of four independent modules: two modeling modules (polygonal and free-form surface modeling), a module for complex animation scenes, and a visualization module that offers a vast range of full-color rendering possibilities.
