    SIGGRAPH 1992

QMS is a leading manufacturer of color and monochrome printers for desktop publishing, graphic design, presentations, CAD and other applications requiring up to 11″ x 17″ or 600×600 dpi laser output. Serial, parallel and LocalTalk interfaces are standard, with direct network connectivity options. RISC-based processors allow extremely fast document processing.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

QMS demonstrates its newest PostScript laser printers and color printers designed for desktop publishing, advanced word processing, and graphic arts. The printers range in speed and paper-handling capabilities to meet printing needs from single users to departments, and many offer features including automatic emulation switching and simultaneous interface operation.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

QMS exhibits its entire line of Adobe PostScriptbased monochrome laser printers and color thermal transfer printers.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

QMS, Inc. provides print solutions for electronic publishing and advanced imaging applications using a variety of host systems and software. The monochrome laser printers have sophisticated text and graphics capabilities, and QMS color printers produce fast, high-quality output for PostScript-language and CAE/CAD applications.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

QMS, Inc, a leader in the rapidly expanding non-impact print systems.market, offers the broadest selection of intelligent laser and thermal transfer printers available for use in desktop publishing, computer-aided publishing, engineering and scientific graphics, word processing and a wide variety of other applications.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

QMS, Inc., will exhibit from its line of nonimpact laser printers, representatives for its LASERGRAFIX, QMS-PC, KISS and SMARTWRITER families. QMS designs, manufactures, markets and supports laser printers that provide solutions to users printing needs. QMS’ line of LASERGRAFIX and PostScript based printers combine complex graphics with multi-font text, for office presentations, correspondence and electronic publishing.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

QMS will be displaying its Laser Printing Systems, which are intelligent, non-impact computer printers which produce and merge complex graphics with multi-font text for office correspondence, electronic publishing, CAD/CAM, manufacturing and scientific applications. Also on display will be Impact Printer Controllers, which are graphics controller boards and interfacing for line and dot matrix printers for labeling, bar coding and forms printing applications. Products include Magnum® and Wedgebox® controllers.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

LASERGRAFIXTM Family of non-impact laser printers all capable of bit-mapping an 81⁄2″ x 14″ page. The QMS SmartWriterTM laser printer with 128K user-accessible memory. CONCEPT 100TM personal publishing system for IBM PC. FormMakerTM, WYSIWYG forms composition software. POSTSCRIPTTM graphics and page composition controller.

    SIGGRAPH 1984

QMS will show its line of intelligent non-impact printers for graphics and text processing applications. The LasergrafixTM line of printers includes the Lasergrafix 1200, 800, and 2400. These printers have speeds from 8 ppm to 24 ppm, resolution of 300 DPI, and a unique controller with full bit-map page memory for mixing text and graphics.
