    SIGGRAPH 1993

Lyon Lamb animation controllers interface graphics sources (either computer or camera) to video recorders to create video animation. Converters and encoders convert RGB computer displays to broadcast-quality video in both PAL and NTSC. Products are stand-alone and plug-in boards.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Lyon Lamb is exhibiting all of its animation controllers: the Pro-Vas, the Mini-Vas 2, the Micro-Vas, the l-Vas, and the PC-VAS. Also on display are the ENC 7 sync generator, the RTC, and the Real-Time Scan Converter.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

Lyon Lamb will show the MiniVAS-2 animation controller and Pro VAS complete animation system with built-in encoder/sync generator and will introduce MicroVAS, a new low-cost animation controller for use with desktop multimedia systems. Also showing the RTC real-time scan converter for conversion of high-resolution graphics workstation signals to broadcast-quality video.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

Lyon Lamb offers MiniVas industry standard animation controller performs field-accurate, single-frame recording and frame grabbing operations from computer graphics systems to standard VTRs.ENC-7, a broadcast quality encoder/sync generator, receives NTSC-compatible RGB output from your computer and provides full bandwidth I and Qoutputs including composite video, component video Betacam or M-II, and S-VHS. The RTC state-of-the-art Real Time Scan Converter converts high-resolution workstation output to NTSC video.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

Lyon Lamb is featuring the RTC—real-time digital scan converter with zoom, pan, and scroll features; the ENC-7 —broadcast-quality encoder/sync generator designed specifically for graphic systems, and Minivas—industrystandard video animation controller.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

Lyon Lamb Video Animation Systems will introduce a new generation of real-time, high-resolution video converters which output standard NTSC (RS-170A) video from a wide range of high-resolution computer graphic workstations and displays, with no loss of graphic information. Also featured are VTR controllers for recording computer animation to videotape, including the VAS-Delta and Mini-VAS.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

Lyon Lamb Video Animation Systems will feature the HRC (High Resolution Converter) which will convert up to 1280×1024 60 Hz Non-interlaced RGB graphics to NTSC video or low-resolution RGB with no loss of graphic information. Also featured are VTR controllers for recording graphics to videotape including VAS DELTA, BAS IV & V, and the new Mini VAS (PC Graphics), and the ENC VI Color Encoder/Sync generator for converting video (RS-170) RGB to NTSC or Component Video.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

Lyon Lamb VAS will be displaying the full line of VAS animation controllers and the new ENC VI NTSC Encoder/Sync Generator. Introducing a new video animation controller for PC-based graphics systems and a high-resolution converter for video output from high-resolution CAD systems.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

Lyon Lamb introduces ENC VI Color Encoder/Sync Generator for RGB to NTSC conversion. Also showing VAS family of videotape an imation controllers for precise frame by frame recording, editing and frame grabbing on a variety of Broadcast1⁄2″,3⁄4″ and l” VTRs, including the Sony BVH-2500.
