    SIGGRAPH 1993

Announcing “LazerRays II” lowest-cost professional ray-tracing, resolution-independent, rendering software for PCs, multiedia/virtual reality; and keyExpress, a real-time digital linear keying/matting system with digital compositing and linear blending. Also, Network Animator digitizes real time, compress/decompress, and provides loss-less true-color data via networks.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Three new products: (1) ExpressSqueeze, true-color real-time, lossless image and motion compression/decompression; (2) ExpressWindows, accelerates true-color Windows graphics software; (3) The Visualization Solution, complete personal scientific workstation. NTSC/PAL to highest resolution. Real-time 3D. Image-grab. True-color or software selectable 1 to 32 bits/pixel. Expandable hardware reprogrammable. For demanding visualization environments. Plus, the high performance Expressway line of graphic stations.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

LAZERUS premiers supercomputerlevel modular hardware for personal computers: EXPRESSWAY Fast Lane (128 MFLOPS, 64 Mbyte memory plus 16 Mbyte VRAM true-color digitizing, D to A, color palettes, real-time color processor, genlockable, DOS APX & Windows); EXPRESSWAY-Publisher (true-color, NTSC/PAL, 1280×1024 resolution, 1-32 bits/pixel); EXPRESSWAY-Accelerator (67 MFLOPS, 27 MIPS, 2-64 Mbytes memory); and SuperEXPRESSWAY (270 MFLOPS, reprogrammable hardware).

    SIGGRAPH 1990

LAZERUS premieres “THE EXPRESSWAY,” a multimedia supercomputer-level graphics workstation on a plug-in board for AT, 386 and 486 personal computers. LAZERUS shows •RADIANT• full-function 3D software for workstations and personal computers (which now includes our LazerRays ray-tracing), with animation capabilities and improved user-interface.

    SIGGRAPH 1989

LAZERUS exhibits its newest developments in supergraphics workstations. In addition, LAZERUS premieres two new products that bring workstation results to personal computers; “LazerRays,” high-quality, ray tracing software for PC/XT, AT, 386, and AutoCAD users; as well as “*RADIANT*/PC,” full-function, professional solid-modeling and animation software.

    SIGGRAPH 1988

LAZERUS 832 supergraphics workstations represent significant sales performance increases over the already high-speed 432 line. The LAZERUS performs real-time animation, highest- quality rendering and ray-tracing in a single high-performance computer. IPROCESS, an integrated image-processing software. Enhanced *RADIANT*, menu-driven full-function 3-0 animation/ creation environment. “CONVERT! for AutoCAD users” animates models in real-time or renders highest-quality directly to film, videotape or slide.

    SIGGRAPH 1987

LAZERUS “Developers of Intelligent Machines for Intelligent Users” announce the following new products: LAZERUS 432 supermini graphics computer, *RADIANT* software for high quality, 3-D imaging, and THE DIRECTOR II—the latest in user interfaces. A leader in technology, LAZERUS continues its tradition of commitment to excellence through the development of new products and dedicated support of existing customers.

    SIGGRAPH 1986

Lazerus Productions, the “Developers of Intelligent Machines for Intelligent Users,” announces the following products: “The Director,” an ergonomically-designed control system for interactive generation and manipulation of models in a real-time, shaded, 4-D universe (the system features integral genlock, frame-grab, keying, output direct to NTSC/PAL video, RGB, high resolution and film recorder) the MACRON Beam 3-D laser Video Projector; and the MEGA Machine/32 — 28 MIPS, 32 bit/pixel high-speed graphics computer.

    SIGGRAPH 1985

THE MEGA MACHINE .. .the high-performance computer for generating/animating 3-D Solids in Real-Tme. MEGA has l Mbyte Local Memory expandable to 16 Mbyte; 4K Wr itable Control Store; Displays hi-res (1024 x 768 x 16/32) and NTSC (512 x 486 x 16/32) with sync generator/integral genlock. Ultimate graphics for IBM PC, AT, XT compatibles.
