    SIGGRAPH 1996

The AXA Animation Series is the leading digital ink and paint system used in professional animation studios to produce Saturday morning cartoon series like “Casper the Friendly Ghost,” TV commercials like Cheerios, CD-ROMs, CD-Is and video games. Handdrawn images are quickly captured into a traditional exposure sheet for storage and timing control. AXA Pencil Test lets you preview multiple scenes with up to 100 levels of animation, including camera moves and a synchronized sound track. Running on a PC under Windows (3.1,95, NT), the AXA Animation Series is the easiest and most cost-efficient digital ink and paint system available.

    SIGGRAPH 1993

The AXA Animation Series will help you produce film/broadcast quality, 2D cel animation quickly and easily, using familiar exposure sheet and camera controls. The automatic anti-aliasing makes the separation lines smooth, and the transparent shadows and highlights with soft, natural edges make the full-color images more life-like.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

AXA Animation Series is a 2D software package running under Microsoft Windows. It includes: Producer, an electronic exposure sheet; Ink & Paint, which inks lines and paints characters; Camera fx, which simulates an animation stand with 10 pegs, composites, and outputs to 35mm film, D2, or Betacam. AXA Corporation, Irvine, CA, is the developer of QuickCEL animation software.

    SIGGRAPH 1991

QuickCEL is a 2D cel animation software system, based on ATVista platform, capable of pencil drawing input, emulating the traditional studio process. AXA Water-Color is a unique paint program, running on the HiColor VGA adapters or Truevision’s ATVista, Targa, or Targa+ board. Traditional environments are faithfully reproduced; artists don’t have to relearn their craft.

    SIGGRAPH 1990

AXA Corporation introduces QuickCEL, a 2D animation production system based on traditional eel animation processes. QuickCEL provides artists and video professionals the tools to design, create, check, approve, and output true color animation to l” VTR.
