    SIGGRAPH 1995

ADI has been specializing in the development and manufacture of digital video products since 1988. MacVac provides frame-accurate software device controllers. Digital Magic is a broadcast- quality, non-linear editor with digital-video post capabilities. Rotoscoping, color- correction, blue-screening, and accelerated effects are some of DM’s features.

    SIGGRAPH 1994

Advanced Digital Imaging presents the new Digital Magic Digital Disk Recording System. With two SCSI-2 hard drives in combination with Intelligent Resources Video Explorer board, this system provides real-time digital video on a Macintosh platform. It enables non-linear editing and special effects capability at a quality comparable in performance to systems costing two or three times more.

    SIGGRAPH 1993

Advanced Digital Imaging introduces Digital Magic, the first 60-field, Beta SP/D1 compatible, QuickTime non-linear editing, digital disk recording and playback system for the Macintosh. Digital Magic edits and composites Macintosh and SGI files with unlimited layering. ADI is also showing MacVAC, the Video Compositing Animation Controller.

    SIGGRAPH 1992

Advanced Digital Imaging, the makers of MacVAC, is showing the A.D.1 digital disk recorder. This new product connects to both Apple Macintosh and SGI computers. Graphics files will be transferred by SCSI to our A.D.1, then played bock in real time (about 5 minutes). Options will include D1 in and out.
