SIGGRAPH 1992

Howtek exhibits its new Sconmaster D4000 professional drum scanner. In addition, the Scanmaster 3+ 1200 dpi scanner and the 600 dpi personal color scanner are displayed. Howtek also is showing the Colorscan electronic pre-press system. Howtek color products are marketed toward desktop graphic arts and electronic pre-press systems.

Howtek exhibits its full line of color scanners, including the 400 dpi Scanmaster 3 and the 1200 dpi Scanmaster 3+, as well as the Scanmaster 35Plus 35mm slide scanner. Howtek also exhibits the 300 dpi Personal Color Scanner. Howtek color products are marketed for desktop graphic arts and electronic pre-press systems.

Howtek demonstrates its line of digital color scanners, including the new Scanmaster 3, 400 dpi professional color scanner and the new Personal Color Scanner. The new Personal Color Printer, a 300 dpi full-color ink jet printer, also enhances the Personal Color Series-offering affordable solutions for independent workstations and general business offices.

Howtek is presenting the Total Color Solution and demonstrating its family of flatbed and 35mm color scanners with its Scan-lt software. Howtek has two flatbed scanners which enable the user to scan reflective art and 35mm scanners which scan any type of 35mm film. To complete the Total Color Solution, Howtek is showing the ideal output device, the Pixelmaster. Now that its compatible with Color PostScript Language and QuickDraw, it combines brilliant colors, high-resolution, and affordability all on plain paper.

Howtek will exhibit its line of color peripherals for the IBM PC and MAC II, including: Scanmaster 300 dpi, flat bed digital color scanner; the Scanmaster/35,35mm film scanner; Photomaster analog film scanner; and Pixelmaster plain paper, color ink jet printer.
