Electric Image, Inc. is the developer of high-end 3D animation and rendering products: Electricimage Animation System, Electricimage Broadcast, and the soon-to-be-released Electricimage 3D Modeler and Radiosity Renderer. Electricimage products have been developed for the non-technical animator, incorporating powerful features and the finest image quality in an easy to use interface.

SIGGRAPH 1995

Electricimage Version 2.5 is a high-end 3D graphics program designed for computer graphics and animation professionals. It is a “fat application” that runs on both 680X0 and PowerMac computers. Features include: inverse kinematics, batch processing, network rendering, light rays, deformations, sync sound, professional gamma control, and much more.

Electricimage imports/ren-ders/animates objects from modeling programs used on multiple platforms. ElectricImage Animation System (EIAS) 1.5 is a Macintosh-based, 3D computer graphics/animation system. Includes ElectricImage—animation choreography interface; Transporter model converter utility; Projector—VTRcontrol/IMAGE file conversion/digital compositing; Mr. Font—converting PostScript Type 1 laser fonts into 3D models and camera—rendering engine.

Electric Image Inc. premieres Electric Image Animation System Version 1.5. Electric Image 1.5 odds new shadow casting features, 255 levels of transparencies, transparency and environmental mapping, improved user interface, and more. Version 1.5 is free to all registered users. Electric Image customers produce work used in the broadcast and motion picture markets.
