SIGGRAPH 2001
Fujitsu Takamisawa America, Inc. releases Windows 2000 drivers for the 3D ErgoPoint, a 3D input device that allows direct, intuitive manipulation of 3D objects.
SIGGRAPH 2000
Fujitsu Takamisawa America, Inc. and ITU Research, Inc. introduce the 3D ErgoPoint, a new kind of 3D input device. It is the first desktop input device that permits multiple finger-gesture manipulation of objects in 3D computer graphics. The device allows direct, intuitive manipulation of 3D objects and improves the user interface to 3D software.
SIGGRAPH 1999
Introducing the 3D DomePoint, a new kind of 3D input device – the first desktop input device that permits multiple finger-gesture manipulation of objects in 3D computer graphics. The device allows direct, intuitive manipulation of 3D objects and improves the user interface to 3D software.
SIGGRAPH 1998
Fujitsu demonstrates the FGX-1 3D Geometry Processor, which is designed as a PCI geometry processor front-end. The MB86242 implemented on a graphics add-in card can significantly increase 3D performance.
SIGGRAPH 1997
Come have your free photograph taken with Fujitsu Microelectronics. Fujitsu features a selection of digital cameras based on the SPARCIite family of RISC microprocessors and demonstrates PC graphics cards that incorporate our new line of geometry accelerator chips, boosting the transformation and lighting throughput of the 3D pipeline.
SIGGRAPH 1996
Fujitsu Interactive introduces the first experiential multimedia title: Using Fujitsu’s advanced “Artificial Life” technology, “Fin Fin on Teo, the Magic Planet.”
SIGGRAPH 1995
Fujitsu presents its new family of PC graphics products featuring the Sapphire 2SX 3D/Windows Accelerator card. The Sapphire 2SX provides 3D graphics capabilities for a PC that were previously available only from expensive graphics workstations. Accelerated rendering features supported by the Sapphire 2SX include shading, texture mapping, anti-aliasing, atmosphere, and depth cueing.
SIGGRAPH 1994
