    Fitting Room: Lung Transplantation Donor-Recipient Size-matching in Virtual Reality

Session/Category Title:   Augmented & Virtual Reality

Presenter(s)/Author(s):

Abstract:

    We introduce ‘Fitting Room,’ a VR toolkit used in a transplantation centre that enhances lung transplant size-matching by providing surgeons with a 3D interactive model for precise donor-recipient compatibility assessment. It lays the groundwork for more personalized and data-driven approaches in lung transplantation, improving surgical outcomes & expanding donor pools.
