We will cover recent advances in the depiction of Black hair, otherwise known as kinky, or Afro-textured hair. This includes the open-source Code My Crown guide, the Open Source Afro Hair Library, and the Lifted Curls simulation technique. Models, source code, and step-by-step instructions are provided.
