Wang Zhigang Ph.D. / Professor Doctoral Supervisor & Chair, Department of Information Art and Design, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University Wang Zhigang is a well-known new media artist, curator and multimedia visual director at domestic and foreign. The main research direction of Wang Zhigang is digital experience design for the field of culture and art. He is a pioneer in performing arts innovation, multimedia interaction, and domestic original video arts, Which fields are specialized in combining technology and art to create new perceptions. His works are known for strong artistic atmosphere and plentiful expression, spanning the area of multimedia design in theatrical stage, large-scale performing arts activities, exhibition display design, large-scale architectural projection, public landscape art lighting design, virtual reality experience and other fields. In 2022, he was successfully completed the task of the opening and closing ceremonies at Beijing Winter Paralympics as a video director.
