Wayne Wu is currently a Senior Graphics Engineer at Genies, where he is pushing the boundaries of digital avatar creation. He was a graduate student and lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in graphics and GPU programming, with a focus on their applications within the metaverse. Prior to his time at Genies and UPenn, Wayne played a pivotal role at Industrial Light & Magic and Blue Sky Studios. There, he made significant contributions to the advancement of production technology through his work with OpenUSD and Houdini.
