Sucheta Bhatawadekar (Director of Cinematography, Lighting) joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in Vancouver, B.C. in June 2022. Sucheta worked together with Disney Animation veteran Adolph Lusinsky as the directors of cinematography, lighting on “Moana 2”. In her career spanning 17 years in the animation industry, Sucheta has worked at various studios such as DreamWorks Animation, Animal Logic Studios and Cinesite. Sucheta is originally from Mumbai, India. She received her BFA in Media Studies from Columbus College of Art and Design and her MFA in Animation from The Ohio State University.
