He studies a monosemy/polysemy of “image” through the practices of inventing and sculpting original media. Born in Yamaguchi, Japan. Currently lives and works in Tokyo and researches at The University of Tokyo. Recent works include the “Imagraph” series, which produces media for projecting a video to the closed eye, the “Lived Montage” series, which implements fictional forms of perception, and the “Selfie as Dance” series, which explores the relative motion on media.
