SIGGRAPH 2024
Dr. Fangcheng Zhong was awarded the ACM SIGGRAPH Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Honorable Mention for “his exceptional dissertation in which he develops a Perceptually Realistic Graphics pipeline”. Decades after Turing, Dr. Fangcheng Zhong developed the world’s first computer and display system capable of passing a visual Turing’s test. Dr. Zhong’s work continues to be celebrated for its significant contributions to the field. The SIGGRAPH accolade marks Dr. Zhong’s third prestigious dissertation award, following his previous recognition from IEEE VR and Eurographics.
