Eric Heep is a Show Audio Engineer at Meow Wolf. In his role, he splits time between Creative Technology, Show Programming, Audio Engineering, and Sound Design. He collaborates with artists at Meow Wolf to provide groundbreaking technological solutions to create ear bending and reality defying experiences. He has helped create over 50 interactive and immersive experiences throughout Omega Mart, Convergence Station, The Real Unreal, and the upcoming exhibition in Houston, TX.
He received his BFA (2014) and MFA (2016) in Music Technology at California Institute of the Arts and is currently an experimental performer and composer in Santa Fe, NM. His work generally includes incorporating existing technology in novel ways, coding, and experimental and procedural sound. In his work, he strives to expose the processes and forms of natural phenomena.
